‘CSI’ scribe in N.Y. state of mind

Lenkov pact also includes development component

“CSI: NY” scribe Peter Lenkov has sealed a three-year deal to serve as an exec producer on the CBS crime drama.

Pact with CBS Paramount Network TV (which produces “CSI: Miami” with Alliance Atlantis) also includes a development component.

“CSI: NY” will enter its third season this fall. Lenkov joined the procedural drama (the second spinoff in the “CSI” trilogy) in the middle of the show’s first year; he previously served as a co-exec producer. He’s been credited as a writer on episodes including “Zoo York,” “Trapped” and “Fare Game.”

Prior to “CSI: NY,” Lenkov was a co-exec producer on Fox’s “24,” working on the show’s fourth season. He was also a co-exec producer on CBS’ “The District.”
