HOLLYWOOD — The 13th annual Race to Erase MS went disco-themed Friday at the Century Plaza with a ’70s pimp style that mixed Afros, hot pants, bellbottoms and fund-raising.
“It’s the one event every year where everyone gets up and dances,” said chair Nancy Davis. “People who never dance, dance at our event. At first they don’t want to get up, but then they have fun.”
The fund-raiser, which brought in $2.5 million, included a Tommy Hilfiger fashion show plus perfs from Macy Gray, Kool & the Gang, Sister Sledge and Natalie Cole.
