Radio City to change name to MSG

Radio City Entertainment is set to change its name to MSG Entertainment.

Company, which manages events at Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden (including the Theater and the Expo Center), is running a rebranding campaign to coincide with efforts to expand its operations beyond these locations. It plans eventually to produce original theatrical productions, as well as broader, citywide events.

Jay Marciano remains prexy of MSGE, which is the live entertainment arm of Cablevision.
