GOOD MORNING: Bob Evans, who made the jump from the garment bizness to acting to film producing, now takes on the chores of production boss of Paramount’s European pic program. He was to have produced two films at 20th, “The Detective” and “Achilles Force”; Mark Robson will now handle producer-director reins on the former … Robert Vaughn has an invite to visit with the Kennedy family in Hyannisport. He’s been active in Kennedy charity work with Pat (Kennedy) Lawford … Southern hospitality, Italian style: Claudia Cardinale gave her first bash for Hollywood friends she’s met and worked with around the world. List started with MGM topper Bob Weitman and the “Don’t Make Waves” gang. Producer Marty Ransohoff admits “Waves” is his wildest picture — the final scene in which CC’s house is engulfed in a mud slide (topped by her mud dance) will cost $300,000 … Co-producer John Calley escorted “Waves” co-star Sharon Tate, fresh from a year abroad, after winding “13” — she grabbed attention in a peekaboo, fish-net creation … (2006 update: Bob Evans is in his 40th year at Paramount and has one more year to go on his contract. He says he is developing three pictures and completing his book, “The Fat Lady Sang,” the sequel to “The Kid Stays In The Picture.” He certainly has.)
