YLE sings Euro tune

B'caster to organize Song Contest

Finnish broadcaster YLE will organize the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest, to be held May 12 at Helsinki’s Areena.

YLE has appointed its director of television, Olli-Pekka Heinonen, and Radio Suomi’s director of programs, Ville Vilen, to coordinate the massive project, which is televised to some 40 countries and attracts about 100 million viewers.
