She’s back. Again.
Add Barbra Streisand‘s name to the list that includes Cher, David Bowie and Frank Sinatra — singers who “retired” from touring only to return.
Streisand will perform in 20 U.S. cities in October and November, a full six years since she played two Las Vegas shows to usher in the 21st century. Back then, Streisand said on her Web site that she was done, except to “sing a few songs for some charity or cause in the future.”
Indeed, it’s charity that has her back onstage: She plans to donate some proceeds to environmental, educational and women’s health orgs.
