Rapper, Rihanna added to Europe Music Awards

MTV Networks Intl. has added Snoop Dogg and Rihanna to its roster of performers for Nov. 2’s MTV Europe Music Awards.

The duo joins Muse, Nelly Furtado, Keane, the Killers, P. Diddy and host Justin Timberlake for the ceremony in Copenhagen.

Hip-hop star Fat Joe will host “The Red Carpet Special.” Adrien Brody, producer Timbaland and Italian pop star Tiziano Ferro are confirmed as presenters.

 Meanwhile, MTV Nets Intl. has promoted Jamie Caring to senior VP of talent and music. London-based Caring will drive the development of music strategy across brands and platforms in Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Canada, Europe, Latin America, the Mideast and Russia.
