Electronic Arts executive new chair on organization

Steve Schnur, Electronic Arts’ worldwide executive of music and marketing, has been named chair of the Grammy Foundation.

Schnur has been a board member for two years. Org oversees programs and activities that engage the music industry and cultural community as well as the general public.

Les Bider, executive in residence for Elevation Partners, will continue to serve as chair of MusiCares.

Other MusiCares officer slots are held by Sidney Miller Jr. as vice chair and Urban Network publisher Miller London as secretary-treasurer. Newly elected MusiCares directors are People publisher Paul Caine; Doug Frank, president, music operations, Warner Bros. Pictures; and Scott Pascucci, president, Rhino Entertainment.

The Grammy Foundation roster of officers is filled by Phil Quartararo as vice chair and Larry Levy of the Levy Organization as secretary-treasurer. Newly elected Grammy Foundation directors are Gary Arnold, senior VP of entertainment, Best Buy; Henry Juszkiewicz, chairman-CEO, Gibson Guitar; and saxophonist-radio show host Dave Koz.
