Artist returns to tenpercentery from CAA
Kanye West is returning to the William Morris Agency. West discharged WMA in 2004 when he signed with CAA.
WMA will handle West in all areas beyond his music recording, producing and touring businesses.
West has also formed West Brands, a parent company designed to develop and run his growing portfolio of businesses, and he has hired Michelynn Woodard, former program director at the CAA Foundation, to be president and chief operating officer.
West’s mother, Donda West, is CEO. She is the co-founder of the philanthropic Kanye West Foundation.
WMA prexy Dave Wirtschafter, with agent Cara Lewis, signed West and heads up his team.
West, who continues to be managed by Hip-Hop’s Gee Roberson, has won six Grammy Awards as producer and recording artist, and his two solo albums have sold more than 8 million copies worldwide.
