Parisse, Orth to star in 'Internationalist'

Annie Parisse, the assistant district attorney on “Law & Order,” and Zak Orth, star of the Drama Dept. production of “Rope,” will topline “The Internationalist” Off Broadway at the Vineyard this fall.

The play, by Anne Washburn (“Apparition,” “The Ladies”), follows a businessman who meets a woman while working in a country where he doesn’t speak the language. Script got an earlier production Off Broadway in 2004 directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, who helms the Vineyard version.

“The Internationalist” begins perfs Oct. 19.
