Schiller's 'Mary' bows in Gotham

Michael Feingold’s translation of Friedrich Schiller’s “Mary Stuart” gets its Gotham bow at the Pearl Theater Company on April 30.

Feingold’s version preemed in San Francisco and also has played Boston. Scribe, whose other translations include “Mirandolina” and “Souls of Naples,” is the theater critic at the Village Voice.

The Pearl production, helmed by Eleanor Holdridge, stars Joanne Camp and Carol Schultz. Show runs through May 21.
