Chi company offers First Look sked

Steppenwolf Theater Company in Chi has announced the slate for its second annual First Look Repertory of New Work, including a new play by Kate Fodor (“Hannah and Martin”).

Fodor’s “100 Saints You Should Know” centers on a parish cleaning lady who pursues a priest when he is forced to leave the church.

Mia McCullough’s “Spare Change” chronicles the chain of events set in motion by a chance encounter on a train.

And Marisa Wegrzyn’s “The Butcher of Baraboo” involves a town butcher, her pharmacist daughter and a cop out to uncover family secrets.

Program runs July 20-Aug. 13.
