Road B.O. dips for 11-show slate

NEW YORK Road grosses increased in Week 12 (August 14-August 20) as the eight-show slate gained 4.0% to $8,593,949.

The “Spamalot” tour had its best week ever in Toronto last week, grossing $1,252,428.

The addition of “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” to the slate also helped boost total receipts.

Once again “Wicked” in Costa Mesa was the highest grossing show of the week with $1,424,011, a house record. Philadelphia’s “The Lion King” followed with $1,325,360 .
