Ricky Jay show extended

Hatcher's 'Picasso' pushed back at Geffen

“Ricky Jay and His 52 Assistants” has been extended to a 10-week run from its initial four weeks at the Geffen Playhouse’s Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater.

The extension, through Jan. 27, has forced the Playhouse to push back the opening of Jeffrey Hatcher’s “A Picasso,” which now opens Feb. 11 with previews starting seven days earlier, and Neil Labute’s “Fat Pig,” which starts previews May 5. Official opening is May 11

Jay’s one-man show, directed by David Mamet, opens Nov. 22.
