Legit Bit

Celia Keenan-Bolger will play Eponine in the upcoming Broadway stint of “Les Miserables.”

Lea Michele was originally cast in the part, but the actress bowed out to reprise her role in “Spring Awakening,” heading to the Rialto this fall after a successful run at the Atlantic this summer.

Keenan-Bolger, nommed for a Tony for her perf in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” departs “Bee” Sept. 17; Jessica-Snow Wilson steps into the tuner Sept. 19.

Eponine sings one of “Les Miz’s” best-known tunes, “On My Own.” The new Broadway production opens Nov. 9 at the Broadhurst.
