The May 23 perf of Off Broadway show “Stomp” kicked off with a live commercial plugging Blighty tourism — complete with cameo from “ER” star Parminder Nagra.
It was only performed once in Gotham, and the ad, which also has played Dublin and Hamburg, was set for just one more run in Pittsburgh, on May 26, with “Queer as Folk” thesp Hal Sparks.
But last fall the Off Broadway laffer “Belly” was preceded by a 10-minute live “trailer” for the stage comedy “Help Me Help Myself.”
