'Jersey' extends San Fran perfs through March 25
Auguring well for the road prospects of the Tony-winning hit musical, “Jersey Boys” broke house records in the first week of its inaugural tour stop at the Curran Theater in San Francisco. Playing nine perfs since it opened Dec. 10, the biotuner about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons grossed $1,096,270.
The show has extended its S.F. engagement through March 25. Next stop on the tour is the Ahmanson in Los Angeles, with previews starting May 25 and the official opening set for June 3. Chicago’s LaSalle Bank Theater follows in October.
