Road Grosses

NEW YORK — Road grosses were up again in Week 3 (June 12-18) as the 11-show slate grew 1.76% to total $11,609,525.

The Detroit run of “Wicked” at $1,807,812 overturned the house record it set last week, while “Mamma Mia!” fell $244,786 week-to-week.

Among shows surpassing the million-dollar mark were both the Philadelphia and Tulsa, Okla., stands of “The Lion King”; the St. Louis run of “The Phantom of the Opera”; the Chicago run of “Wicked”; the D.C. run of “Monty Python’s Spamalot”; and “Les Miserables” in Los Angeles.
