Road grosses

NEW YORK — Road grosses fell again in Week 34 (Jan. 16-22), down a further 2.51% to $10,231,596.

This was despite the return of “Dame Edna: Back With a Vengeance” to Denver, and “Little Shop of Horrors” playing in Palm Desert, Calif.

Both companies of normally boisterous “The Lion King” saw more subdued box office figures due to lower gross potentials, although the “Lion” tour in East Lansing, Mich., succeeded in fulfilling its potential with $863,715 from six performances.
