Production reunites Hawke with helmer Jack O’Brien, who directed the actor in another supersized legit event at Lincoln Center, “Henry IV,” in 2003. O’Brien’s last Broadway outing with Stoppard came in 2001 with the Lincoln Center production of “The Invention of Love.”

O’Byrne, who’s appearing in Manhattan Theater Club’s “Shining City” through July 16, won a Tony for “Frozen.” He also was an original cast member of “Doubt.”

The “Coast” marathon takes up residence at the Vivian Beaumont, Lincoln Center’s Broadway stage, beginning with the first preview Oct. 17 of the first play, “Voyage.” Trilogy’s second show, “Shipwreck,” joins the repertory in December, followed by final installment “Salvage” in late January, after which all three plays will be performed until the skedded closing March 11.

Bob Crowley and Scott Pask will design the sets, with Catherine Zuber doing costumes and Brian MacDevitt, Kenneth Posner and Natasha Katz sharing lighting duties.
