Odd Lot Entertainment has bought horror scribe Stephen Susco’s “Zero Dark Thirty” for genre label Dark Lot Entertainment to produce.
John Stalberg Jr. is set to direct the thriller, which follows a U.S. Army solider who returns home from the Middle East — in body only. Soon, his tranquil small town is gripped by strange and violent events.
Producers are Odd Lot toppers Gigi Pritzker and Deborah Del Prete, along with Susco and Stalberg. David Greathouse, David Perlmutter and Steve Ecclesine are exec producing. Chris Ridenhour and Linda McDonough are co-producers.
Susco penned the English-language versions of “The Grudge” and yet-to-bow “The Grudge 2.” Upcoming writing projects include “Crawlspace” for Paramount and Twisted Pictures.
Odd Lot, founded in 2001, has produced pics including “The Wedding Planner” and “Green Street Hooligans.” Upcoming films include “The Girls’ Guide to Hunting and Fishing” and “Lavender Hill Mob.”
