Warner Bros. has bought Joe Nussbaum’s spec script “Brad Cutter Ruined My Life … Again” for Donald De Line to produce.
Comedy revolves around a high-school nerd who grows up to get a good job and a beautiful girlfriend, only to lose his sanity and just about everything else when his company hires a man who was the most popular guy in his high school and had made his life a living hell.
De Line has a first-look deal with the Warners, and he’s based on the studio’s lot.
Nussbaum co-wrote the upcoming “How to Eat Fried Worms,” a co-production of Imagine Entertainment, New Line Cinema and Walden Media. He’s also directed for film and television, including feature comedy “Sleepover” for Columbia.
