Trigon follows up Emmy doc

Sequel to 'Nicholas Winton' to be completed in 2007

Slovakian outfit Trigon has started production on the follow-up to Emmy Award-winning docu “Nicholas Winton — The Power of Good.” Original pic told the story of one man who saved 669 Czech children from the Nazi death camps.

“It’s a loose sequel to ‘The Power of Good’ and it documents Nicholas Winton’s legacy today. We expect the film will be completed in 2007,” producer Patrik Pass said of the untitled pic.

Trigon is producing the docu together with pic’s Czech helmer Matej Minac and is looking for more international co-producers.

“Ideally we’d like to work with HBO with whom we worked on ‘The Power of Good,” Pass added.

Together, with Minac, they are also working on a feature-film adaptation of Winton’s achievement, which will focus on one of the boys Winton saved.
