TriCoast goes int’l

Studio pacts with Artzi for new co.

TriCoast Studios has partnered with production-distribution exec Ami Artzi to create TriCoast Intl., an international sales and distribution company.

Artzi joins Strathford Hamilton and Marcy Levitas Hamilton as partners. New division is unveiling “Moving McAllister” at AFM. Road-trip project stars Ben Gourley, who also wrote and produced, along with Jon Heder, Mila Kunis and Rutger Hauer.

TriCoast is also unveiling “Lenin,” a project from Leonard Hills that chronicles the life of Vladimir Lenin and the birth of the Soviet Union. It will be released as a feature film and a TV miniseries. Company has also acquired international distribution rights to “The Opera Lover,” starring Tom Bastounes and Monica Zaffarano, set in the world of American opera.
