On Oct. 22, the thesps will race through six preems –Munich, Berlin (where two bows are taking place), Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Cologne — over a span of 12 hours in a bid to knock Will Smith out of the Guinness Book of World Records.

Bruehl and Vogel are aiming to best the record Smith set last year with three whirlwind “Hitch” preems in Manchester, Birmingham and London over the course of a single day.

Backed by the Federal Film Board and local exhibs, stunt is part of an industrywide campaign aimed at boosting local B.O.
