The worlds of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and comic books collided over the weekend at Spike TV’s inaugural Scream Awards.
The ceremony, which was held at the historic Pantages Theater, was hosted by Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowan and Marley Shelton, all of whom will star in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s “Grindhouse.”
The directing duo won the “Scream Mastermind Award” and Rodriguez’s “Sin City” co-director Frank Miller received the “Comic-Con Icon Award.” Ozzy Osbourne was presented with the “Scream Rock Immortal Award.”
Elsewhere, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” walked off the plank with four awards while “Batman Begins” flew home with three.
The show will air on Oct. 10 at 10 p.m. on Spike TV.
