Co. scores rights to 'Crossing'

Woolley Global has acquired foreign distribution rights to WhiteLight Entertainment’s feature pic “Crossing Paths,” starring Minnie Driver and Jeremy Renner.

Also starring in the pic are Adam Rodriguez (“CSI: Miami”), David Denman (“The Office”) and Bobby Coleman.

“Crossing Paths,” which was written and directed by tyro Charles Oliver, takes place over two days — one in the past, one in the future — and is the story of a woman who journeys through the desert to witness the execution of the man who took her son seven years earlier. As their meeting approaches, they each reconstruct the day their lives collided.

Chet Thomas produced the pic and Gerald Molen (“Schindler’s List”) exec produced.

Driver’s pilot “Low Life” was recently picked up by FX and is now titled “The Riches.”

Renner just wrapped “The Assassination of Jesse James” and is shooting Fox Atomic’s “28 Weeks Later.”
