Par Classics calls Colligan

Exec to topper for publicity, promotions

Megan Colligan has been tapped exec VP of publicity and promotions for Paramount Classics, reporting to the unit’s new prexy, John Lesher.

Colligan joins Par from Fox Searchlight, where she served as VP since 2002, working on “Kinsey,” “Napoleon Dynamite” and “Antwone Fisher,” among other pics. She also managed the Oscar campaign for “Sideways.”

Colligan began her publicity career at Miramax Films in 1997, handling campaigns for films such as “Welcome to Sarajevo,” “East Is East” and “That’s the Way I Like It.”
