Dolly Parton, Kathleen “Bird” York and Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia will perform their Oscar-nominated songs at the 78th annual Academy Awards.
Parton will perform “Travelin’ Thru,” for which she wrote the music and lyrics, from “Transamerica.”
York will perform “In the Deep,” for which she wrote the music (with Michael Becker) and lyrics, from “Crash.”
Paul “DJ Paul” Beauregard and Jordan “Juicy J” Houston of Three 6 Mafia and Cedric “Frayser Boy” Coleman are nominated for “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp” from “Hustle & Flow.” They’ll perform with group’s Darnell “Crunchy Black” Carlton and actress Taraji P. Henson, who sang the song’s hook in the film.
Additionally, Charlize Theron, Uma Thurman and rapper Ludacris have been added as presenters.
Kudofest will air March 5 at 5 p.m. PT on ABC from the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
