LONDON — Frank Mannion’s Swipe Films has picked up worldwide sales rights to the U.S. indie pic “Flourish,” starring Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer.
Pic, written and directed by Kevin Palys, is a thriller about a babysitter who gets embroiled in the investigation of a young girl’s disappearance. It will screen in this month’s Cannes market.
Swipe has also acquired U.K. rights to three Scandinavian movies from Trust Film Sales — Swedish hit “Dalecarlians,” Dagur Kari’s “Dark Horse” and the 2003 Swedish comedy “Kops.”
Swipe recently finished shooting “Reverb,” a supernatural horror film set in London, starring Leo Gregory and Eva Birthistle.
