Former Benderspink manager Dave Brown has ankled to launch his own shingle, Sleeping Giant Entertainment, and brought aboard former WMA staffer Scott Halle as a manager.

Los Angeles-based unit next plans to add a producer to head up its film and TV development and production initiatives.

Brown, who began his career at Writers & Artists, followed by posts at agencies Bruce Brown and Genesis, was previously involved with packaging Lionsgate’s low-budget horror hit “Saw.”
