Stars set for coming-of-age story

Sidney Kimmel Entertainment has set Anton Yelchin, Robert Downey Jr., Hope Davis, Kat Dennings and Tyler Hilton to star in “Charlie Bartlett,” a coming-of-age story that marks the directorial debut of Jon Poll. In the Gustin Nash-scripted dark comedy, Yelchin (“Alpha Dog”) plays a wealthy teen who goes to a new public high school and ingratiates himself into its social fabric by using his charm to become the school’s resident “psychiatrist.” Downey, who recently completed “Zodiac” and “A Scanner Darkly,” plays the school principal.
