Italo helmer taps ‘Myself’

Italo helmer Saverio Costanzo will shoot “In memoria di me” (In Memory of Myself), the tale of a young Italian monk’s initiation into cloistered Catholic vows.

His Palestinian territories-set “Private” was disqualified as Italy’s foreign-language 2005 Oscar submission because it’s not in Italian,

Pic is being produced by Mario Gianani’s Offside and Medusa, which will distribute in Italy.

Cast is still being finalized for “In Memory,” which will shoot in the fall in Venice’s Fondazione Cini, a former monastery.
