Slated for release in second-quarter 2007
SINGAPORE — Innoform Media and Boku Films will co-produce Mandarin feature “Men in White” from local helmer Kelvin Tong.
Slated for release in second-quarter 2007, the horror-comedy is budgeted at $500,000, funded in part by apparel company Crocodile.
Written and directed by Tong, pic centers on four Singaporeans who die on the same day and find themselves back on the streets as clueless ghosts.
Tong’s previous works include “The Maid” and “Love Story,” a collaboration with Andy Lau’s Focus Films.
Collaboration is InnoForm Media’s first with Tong’s shingle Boku Films.
Innoform plans to produce five or six movies in the next two years through investment or production deals. It just invested in Jack Neo’s “Just Follow Law,” due for release around Chinese New Year 2007.
Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Singapore with regional offices in Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, InnoForm Media develops and licenses children’s edutainment products, sources music/film and offers publishing, distribution and recording services.
