Indie ‘Bill’ filling up

Olyphant joins Eckhart in laffer

Timothy Olyphant has been cast alongside Aaron Eckhart in “Bill,” an indie comedy being produced and financed by Gotham-based GreeneStreet Films.

Melissa Wallack (“The Dallas Buyers Club”) penned the script and will direct the film with her husband, Bernie Goldmann. Lensing begins later this month in upstate New York.

Story revolves around a man (Eckhart) going through a mid-life crisis whose wife has an affair with a local newscaster (Olyphant) that is caught on tape and broadcast over the Internet. The female lead has not yet been cast.

Producers are GreeneStreet’s John Penotti and Bruna Papandrea.

Olyphant (“Deadwood”) stars opposite Jennifer Garner in Sony’s upcoming “Catch and Release.”
