Filmmakers will participate in Q&A with curator Schwartz
Guillermo del Toro (“Pan’s Labyrinth”), Richard Linklater (“Fast Food Nation”), Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (“Babel”) and Steven Shainberg (“Fur”) are among the directors tapped to participate in the Museum of the Moving Image upcoming conversation series, running Oct. 24 – Dec. 1.
Filmmakers will participate in a discussion with the museum’s chief curator, David Schwartz, and a Q&A with audience members about their latest projects.
Discussions will be added to the museum’s audio archive, Pinewood Dialogues, which features discussions with figures in film, television and digital media. Site’s visitors can stream or download audio and read transcripts of conversations.
Gabriel Range (“Death of a President”), the Brothers Quay (“The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes”) and George Miller (“Happy Feet”) also will participate in series.
