Icon Entertainment Intl. has acquired the Hammer film library of more than 100 horror titles for worldwide sale.
The distinctive library includes Christopher Lee starrer “Dracula: Prince of Darkness,” “The Abominable Snowman,” “Frankenstein & the Monster From Hell,” “Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter,” “Plague of the Zombies” and “Quatermass and the Pit.”
Icon now reps more than 300 titles for international distribution.
Its slate of new features includes Mel Gibson’s “Apocalypto”; “Seraphim Falls,” starring Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson; “Butterfly on a Wheel,” with Brosnan and Maria Bello; and “The Darwin Awards,” featuring Joseph Fiennes and Winona Ryder.
