Helmer Dome Karukoski’s drama “Beauty and the Bastard,” received eight noms, and will compete with “Frozen Land” for top film kudo. The third pic in the film race is Klaus Haro’s “Mother of Mine,” with six noms.

“For the Living and the Dead,” a drama by Kari Paljakka, also earned six nods, while “FC Venus” was nominated in two categories.
