The South by Southwest Film Conference and Fest has added thesp Charlize Theron and funnyman David Cross to its panels lineup.
Panels are skedded to run March 11-14, at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
Theron has been added to the panel “The Documentary Beat,” which will focus on music docus playing SXSW. Theron produced the fest’s world preem “East of Havana,” which follows three young rappers in a Cuban ghetto.
Panel also will include the pic’s producer, Juan Carlos Saizarbitoria, as well as filmmakers Paul Rachman, Zach Niles, Banker White and Margaret Brown.
Cross joins a panel focusing on his comedy pic “Fired!” a fest preem also starring Tim Allen, Andy Dick, Illeana Douglas, Jeff Garlin, Anne Meara, Bob Odenkirk, Harry Shearer and Fred Willard.
Pic, by helming duo Chris Bradley and Kyle Labrache, follows a disillusioned actress collecting stories from showbiz types who have been canned from acting gigs before.
Other previously announced panels include “A Conversation With Henry Rollins” and “A Conversation With Peter Bart.”
