Durham docu fest runs through April 9
Gotham-based digital cinema network Emerging Pictures is syndicating the Full Frame Documentary Film Fest via its chain of 11 sites for the third straight year.
Fest — located in Durham, North Carolina, and hosted in part by Duke Univ. — kicked off its 12-film lineup this week with Sydney Pollack’s “Sketches of Frank Gehry.”
Fest runs through April 9.
Further highlights this year include Doug Block’s “51 Birch Street,” Josh Gilbert’s “a/k/a Tommy Chong” and Alexandra Lipsitz’s “Air Guitar Nation.”
Emerging is syndicating the fest via screenings in cities including Buffalo, Ft. Lauderdale, Martha’s Vineyard, Tulsa, Scranton and Tucson.
Emerging is headed by Barry Rebo, Ira Deutchman and Giovanni Cozzi.
