Madsen, Lively go 'Deep'

Michael Madsen will star opposite Eric Lively in skiing and snowboard actioner “Deep Winter,” being produced by Glenn Zoller’s Hollywood-based Gigantic Films.

Indie pic, directed by Mickey Hilb, is lensing in Alaska after wrapping shooting in the mountains of Utah.

Kellan Lutz, Peyton List, Luke Goss and Robert Carradine also star.

From a script by Jonathan Protass, story revolves around childhood best friends who want to be the first to ski a peak in Alaska.

Zoller is producer, with Christo Morse co-producing. Shimon Kabili, Daniel Wood and Mat Wiebel are exec producing.

Zoller and Hilb previously collaborated on extreme sports pic “Dishdogz,” which Lionsgate is set to release.

Madsen can be seen in “Scary Movie 4.” He’s also set to star in “Sin City 2.”

Lively stars in First Look’s upcoming “The Breed.” He’s also attached to star in “The Butterfly Effect 2.”
