IFC, Tartan pact to pick up 'Brothers'

Distribs IFC Films and Tartan Films have pacted to pick up North American and U.K. rights to helming duo Keith Fulton and Louis Pepe’s “Brothers of the Head,” which preemed in Toronto last year.

Pic is the feature debut for Fulton and Pepe, who previously teamed on the docu “Lost in La Mancha,” about helmer Terry Gilliam. IFC released that film.

“Head” centers on conjoined twins plucked from obscurity by a 1970s music promoterwho are groomed to become a boy band.

Film, skedded to roll out in July, stars real-life (but not conjoined) twins Harry and Luke Treadaway.

Pic was produced by Simon Channing Williams and Gail Egan; FilmFour financed in association with EM Media and Screen East.

Hanway Films reps overseas rights.
