CJ Entertainment has signed a sheaf of deal memos for its two big AFM movies, Park Chan-wook’s “I Am a Cyborg But That’s OK” and period actioner “The Restless.” Both bow in Korea next month.

Selling widely in Asia, “Cyborg” was licensed to Golden Scene for Hong Kong, M Pictures for Thailand and Encore Film for Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Ama Films took the pic for Greece; CJ expects to close deals for larger European territories later in the market.

“Restless” was sold to M Pictures for Thailand; Splendid Film for Germany and Benelux; Central Partnership for Russia; Eco for Poland; Video Sonic for Greece; New Star for Brazil; Inter Star for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary; D Prods. for Turkey; Shapira for Israel; and Pol Films for Poland, Bulgaria and Romania.

Gangster actioner “A Dirty Carnival,” introduced to buyers at Pusan and AFM, scored deals with Splendid for Germany, M Pictures for Thailand and Video Sonic for Greece.
