Japan’s Cinequanon has picked up Bavaria Film’s nuclear disaster pic “The Cloud,” which hits German theaters March 16. Deal was negotiated by Naoko Kunioka, manager of acquisitions and sales, and Thorsten Schaumann, head of Bavaria Film Sales and includes all rights. “The Cloud” was produced by Munich-based Clasart, a division of Tele Munchen.
