BBC America to air Brit awards

'Gardener' leading the pack with 10 noms

BBC America has secured the exclusive broadcast rights for the British Academy Film Awards.

Due to air Feb. 19 at 8 p.m., the show will be hosted by writer-thesp Stephen Fry. Ceremony takes place at the Odeon in London’s Leicester Square.

Leading the nominees is “The Constant Gardener,” with 10 nominations, including Ralph Fiennes for actor. George Clooney has the most individual noms with four — three for “Good Night, and Good Luck” and one for “Syriana.”

“Brokeback Mountain,” which scooped four prizes at the Golden Globes, has nine nominations.
