Talent agency and distribution house iHQ is to establish an L.A. office to facilitate cooperation with U.S. talent agencies and producers.

Company, which partnered with New Line Cinema on Korean actioner “The Shadowless Sword,” recently backed its first English-language pic, “American Zombie,” helmed by Grace Lee. “Zombie” is produced through Wim Wenders associate Lee In-Ah’s Lee Lee Films.

Meanwhile, it has paid 4.591 billion won ($4.8 million) for a 30% stake in Chungeorahm, the shingle behind box office smash “The Host.”

iHQ becomes Chungeorahm’s second largest shareholder and has an option to purchase more Chungeorahm stock.
