'Hide' tapped for best juried feature
Christian Faure’s wartime love drama “A Love to Hide,” about a gay couple in Nazi German who give refuge to a Jewish woman, was tapped for best juried feature at the eighth annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
Faure’s film was also picked by auds as the favorite feature.
Fest unspooled from April 21-30.
Winning the jury award for docu was Malcolm Ingram’s “Small Town Gay Bar,” about two gay bars in a small town in northeast Mississippi.
Aud award for docu went to “Laughing Matters … More!,” directed by Andrea Meyerson, a sequel showcasing four lesbian comedians.
