Spanish mini-major the Filmax Group has closed a co-production deal with Germany’s Universum Film, owned by German giant Bertelsmann, on Brad Anderson’s upcoming “Trans-Siberian.” Production house Universum takes German-speaking territory rights as part of the deal.

Written by Anderson and Will Conroy, “TransSiberian” is Anderson’s second collaboration with Filmax after “The Machinist.” It rolls in late October. Filmax is closing its international cast. Pic is being sold at Cannes by Filmax Int.
