CANNES — Richard Linklater’s Cannes competition entry “Fast Food Nation” has been sold to Tartan Films for distribution in the U.K.

Movie, sold internationally by HanWay Films, has been picked up by Senator in Germany, La Fabrique de Film in France, Dendy in Australia, Pan Cinema in South Korea and a slew of other territories.
