Australian helmer Fred Schepisi, whose “Empire Falls” won two Golden Globes, has been named president of the international jury at the Bangkok Film Festival, which runs Feb. 17-27.

His jurors include actor-director Charles Dance, thesp-scribe Julie Delpy, actress Nancy Kwan (“Flower Drum Song”), producer Donald Ranvaud (“The Constant Gardener”) and Thai director Pantham Thongsang (“I-Fak”).

They will award Golden Kinnarrees for film, director, actress and actor from the 12 films in competition, including “Transamerica” and “Mrs. Henderson Presents,” on Feb. 24.

Thai helmer Pen-Ek Ratanaruang’s “Invisible Waves” will open the fest, while Chris Columbus’ “Rent” has been selected for the closing night gala.
